The limitations to the idea of the dream home and the values that support it are most strongly suggested in Thauberger's paintings of contemporary houses... If these houses express themselves almost against their architecture, Thauberger's bungalows suggest an important point of reference. The psychological   price of such dream homes has also been recognized.
