Although they are based on actual buildings, these paintings are no more realistic or naturalistic than Thauberger's other works. With their neatly manicured lawns, flowers, gardens, decorative colouration, prim condition and straight-on views, these homes may not exactly be material for Better Homes & Gardens but they are nonetheless attractive.
